Artist Statement
My two favourite themes are city living and fashion. Bright colours, strong lines and high contrasts appeal to me. I try to create a pleasing path for the eye to follow. Usually this results in a realistic rendering, but sometimes becomes abstracted.
I like to work in a variety of media: acrylic paint, cut paper, printmaking, fabric, pencil crayon, oil paint, even found materials.
The Toronto School of Art, from which I graduated in 2011, provided many opportunities for me to indulge in these interests and broaden their scope.
